Biography

I'm an ex-professional photographer raised in the age of film and now re-learning my art in digital. I've taken well over 800,000 (recent count up of another 4 boxes of negatives up-ed this by 95,000) photos in my time but the next one is going the be better than all of them - the eternal optimist.

I live in wellington in New Zealand. You might know it as the place where the Lord of the Rings was made. Being in the southern hemisphere it's cold, wet and windy during the middle of the year, and we celebrate Christmas on the the beach!
