Custom Shortcuts: dekeKeys for Photoshop 2020 (by Request)

Update: Deke asked me to post new (separate) shortcut files for Mac and Windows with the following message:

“I fixed the Windows shortcuts to remove a shortcut that would have prevented folks from pressing Ctrl-T for Free Transform, which I consider to be one of the best default (not mine) shortcuts in the software, and so I’d hate to f*** that up. (Except he didn’t use asterisks. ;-) Changed the downloads down below. —cw

Last Friday, friend of Deke lfranga asked about dekeKeys for Photoshop 2020. And here they are. Well, they are down below. Thanks LF, and also thanks to our friends at Dreamstime for the image above. (As useful as shortcuts are, they are not very visually inspiring, so I’m glad to have Mcarrel’s typewriter key image to snazz things up.)

Usually, Deke publishes and shares this set of custom shortcut keys as part of the release of his Photoshop One-on-One: Mastery course, but given the shutdown of studios at LinkedIn Learning this summer, that course is likely delayed until the next version of Photoshop is released. (In the meantime, Photoshop 2019 One-on-One: Advanced and Mastery will remain available (and relevant) to members of LinkedIn Learning.

But, Deke’s been working on other Photoshop content from here in dekeLand proper, and so this weekend he bundled up the shortcuts he’s been using and you can download them down below.

Let us know what you think and if there are any shortcuts you’d like to see included. And be sure to use the PC version if you’re a PC user (and same goes for Mac, but Deke told me to specifically warn the Windows crowd).
